Stevie Nii-Adu Mensah, a musician, singer-songwriter, educator, author and traveller, is professionally known as MENSAHIGHLIFE.
Born to Highlife virtuosos, he guested on Africa Global Radio’s (AGR) Creatives Corner, Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Speaking to host Prince Benjamin (PB), he said his debut album, STAKUYO, is named after his mother, and will be released “probably between September and December”.
He played two singles from the project, explained that FAM is a tribute to his brother and creative arts mentor Francis Adjei Mensah who tragically died at the hands of racist skinheads in Sweden, revealed the inspiration behind the song and book It’s Cold O and gave his assessment of the global Afrobeats phenomenon.
