Hello Beautiful People!
My guest, in this 6th episode of the Black Ourstory Podcast, is Biko Kwamina Tamakloe Haffar. Biko is a visual artist and an abstract expressionist painter born in Los Angeles, CA in 1987.
Biko credits his father, a boy from the Ghanaian mining town of Obuasi, who was enamoured with Hollywood movies and witnessed the revolutionary events of the Forties, and situated psychologically in a Ghana of the Pan African struggle for liberation.
Biko’s mission is to free and transform a person’s voice within by encouraging the expression of that voice through therapeutic painting.
