On Thursday, June 15, 2023, Africa Global Radio (AGR) hosted Richard Kabu, a gentleman who lives with the albinism condition and also serves as the Programs and Research Officer at the Ghana Association of Persons with Albinism (GAPA). On the Africa Daily Show’s Discussion Zone segment, Richard told Prince Benjamin (PB), Deborah and Sandra, stories about he and his twin elder brother growing up with the condition, the struggles and hacks he devised to learn in school, explained what his work at GAPA entails, the association’s interaction with policymakers about medical and educational interventions and the myths, privileges and dangers of albinism.
